On January 31, 2024, a meeting was held at Ala-Too International University with a delegation from the Center for Economic and Trade Exchanges of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

At the meeting, the Chinese delegation got acquainted with the activities of the university, and there were also discussions on the development of education. Within the framework of these discussions, topics related not only to the study of the Chinese language and culture, but also to the introduction of modern technologies into the educational process were touched upon.
